HD 204 – Urban Antipasto

I am fortunate to have a long and narrow balcony that gets good sun and has a fantastic view of downtown Vancouver as well as the mountains. Mishka, our hungry cat, just loves to sit on the balcony and feel as if she owns the world.

Homegrown tomatoes, eggplant, mozzarella and herbs make an easy-to-grow (and prepare), wholesome taste sensation. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and a little balsamic. Sip a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset on a lazy summer evening.

Detailed recipe here.

  1. Great video HellaD and thanks so much for visiting my blog.
I’m trying to talk to my family about turmeric as I have a vip affected by it. I hope you’ll have the opportunity to read about Intestinal Calm and learn more about it. Our double blind study is now complete and I will be posting next week telling people about it and showing the results.

Love your site and looking forward to reading more about it!! Have a great day!

I love your videos! Do you get many eggplants from a potted plant? There’s no garden in the house we are in at present and I’m never sure what’s worth putting in containers.

I used fingerling eggplants and I wish I had put them in a bigger pot, I would have gotten more out of it! I have found that ginger works surprizingly well in a pot. Potatoes are also quite good in containers, and of course most herbs do well…!
