Lumen Natura – The Light Within

Since last October things have really picked up with my biodynamic craniosacral therapy clinic and I haven’t had as much time to devote to Hella Delicious. It has been a long time coming for me. It seems the third time is indeed the charm. I have set up a cranio clinic in 3 countries now! It is funny to think of it like that. I had a clinic briefly right after I graduated in 2005, but that was when we were living in that moldy apartment in Wellington, NZ. We got sick and had to move. I very briefly put up my shingle in upstate New York, but after a call from a heavy breather and another strange fellow come by for a session, I shut that down pretty quickly!

As I have still been in the process of healing my own self, I haven’t been really trying to get many clients for the past couple years but over the last few months my health has really improved. I feel like my guts are actually absorbing nutrients from my food again finally! Most of the time, that is. I still have bad days, but they are getting much less frequent and I haven’t even had a migraine in months. The good thing about better health is that I have more energy to do more things, and less time to sit around blogging! Actually my back and shoulder always get out of shape when I am on the computer too much, so even my body is telling me that doing craniosacral therapy is better for me than blogging! I must say it is nice to be able to take on new clients finally. Now I desperately need to find somewhere else more suitable to work from.

The Bio-Tensegrity Bounce

The Bio-Tensegrity Bounce

Since I am on the subject of connective tissue, I thought I better mention bio-tensegrity which is an important idea in the biodynamic mode of craniosacral therapy, and which is a concept I really like, plus I love the toys that have been made using this principal. My sister, who is an emergency ...

Local freedom and global cohesion

Local freedom and global cohesion

One of the websites I have followed ever since I started blogging is Dr. Mae-Wan Ho's www.i-sis.org.uk, so I was very excited when I found an article by her in the appendix of the notes in our Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Training a late last year. The seminar was on whole body dynamics and we we ...

Local/Global – Start With Your Cells

Local/Global – Start With Your Cells

Spring is a period of transition and this spring has been especially full of changes in my neck of the woods. I attribute it mainly to craniosacral therapy and the GAPS diet which we have been on for over a year now. The past couple weeks we ran out of probiotics (we take biokult twice a day) and ha ...

For Gen X Eyes Only

For Gen X Eyes Only

I am reposting this rather militant article I wrote last year for a local magazine in Los Angeles which has now gone under. Although it was written a while ago, I have to say that I still agree, but now I think that many 'sleeper agents' are already awake - watch out multinational corporations! ...

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Training

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Training

In 2003, I began a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training in New Zealand. I was a chef at the time, so this was entirely new for me. Prior to starting the training I spent about 3 years researching various healing modalities to make sure I put my hard-earned money into the right one for me. I kn ...

The Terror of Electroshock Treatment

The Terror of Electroshock Treatment

A couple years ago I read a book about how women used to be given electro-shock treatment for their 'hysteria' and assumed that those terrible days were over decades ago so I was very interested in this article about how electroshock treatment has had a revival and is now being used with even high ...
