Old Fashioned Hot Buttered Rum

  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 c boiling water
  • 3 qt cider
  • 1 qt Jamaican rum
  • ¼ lb melted butter
  • cinnamon

Method:
Dissolve brown sugar in boiling water. Add cider and bring to a boil. Add rum, stir thoroughly. Add butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve hot.
