Gene Emerson: A Night Of Original Music

Gene Emerson’s music carries beautiful messages and expresses love and concern for humanity as a whole. The music not only reflects our history, it also connects with the reality of our world today. It is music filled with deep emotions, genuine love and really touches one’s heart. If you are available, please come to her pre concert in Tom Lee downtown Vancouver, BC on Nov 2 at 7:00pm (there is also a special guest–Glen David plays saxophone).

gene_emerson_recital_poster_201311Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) is hosting A Night of Original Music of new classically-inspired music composed by 16-year-old Coquitlam musician Gene Emerson, performed by Gene on piano with exceptional professional support by special guests Jeanette Bernal-Singh (violin); Zoltan Rozsnyai (cello); Reg Quiring (viola); Gene Ramsbottom (clarinet).

I believe in a kind of international music that transcends frontiers, countries and nationalities. Hence, through music, I want to learn and connect to every country, nation, tribe or people. For the above reasons I call my music: Music Link with Humanity…. All my music so far and without exception carries a certain message of profound love for peace, fraternity and harmony. I want my music to inspire people, to give them hope and show them that life in its every single moment has a great aim and a beautiful destination.- Gene Emerson
