The Winter Farmer Market of Vancouver BC comes together fortnightly at WISE Hall 1882 Adanac Street at Victoria Drive. My favorite item at this time of the year are the potatoes. Music is always good and entertaining and it is fantastic to have such a fabulous view of the skyline of Vancouver’s downtown in the distance.
This particular market was also Valentines Day and the friendly vendor from Lowland Herb Farm had a big red lipstick kiss on her cheek and told me she needed WOOFERs as she was wanted to attend a biodynamic agriculture course in Oregon.

One of my many favorite places to eat in Yangon is at an excellent Burmese fresh salad bar on the street right next to Sule Pagoda. It opens in the evenings as the parking spaces empty, spilling off the sidewalk and across the street.
This place is famous in Myanmar for the best hand-tossed rice ...
