Homemade healing muscle rub in a handmade lacquerware box made in Burma/Myanmar.
Many of the herbs that went into this ointment were hand harvested from the pristine meadows of the Catskill mountains. The salve contains St Johns wort, cayenne, menthol, mullein, myrrh, olive oil, sole and beeswax.
I have been making this lotion for quite a while with variations. The lovely handmade container is from Burma.

In meadows of the Catskill Mountains of New York grow wild an abundance of native and naturalized herbs and flowers. A few of these were respectfully and personally harvested, dried, and combined with a homemade spice mixture, creating a delightful potpourri packet.
A handmade aromatic spice mixture gives the packet an exotic aroma, which includes rosemary, cloves and cardamom which are all great brain stimulants for memory and freshness.
The packet itself is made out of Shan paper which is handmade from mulberry bark by ethnic hill-tribe peoples. This is decorated with pressed wild-herbs, creating a natural container for the dried wildflowers.

MindSpice is a specially created spice mix that is designed to uplift the spirits and refresh the mind. It includes cardamom, clove, rosemary and cinnamon. On sniff will clear the mind during an afternoon mind-fog and will raise the spirits or assist with memory.
Cardamom has restoring and balancing abilities and is good for lifting depression and clearing the mind. Rosemary is well known for memory, as well as being a gentle stimulant. The yarrow stalks contained in these handmade oracle pouches grew wild in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. They were harvested with respect and care.
The pouches containing the stalks are handmade from hand-made mulberry bark paper, made in Shan State, Burma and stitched together with sacred lotus fiber harvested and spun on the Mystical Inle Lake of Shan State.

The ultimate earth-friendly laundry detergent.
Soapnuts have been used for everything from removing lice to silver polish. They are actually helpful for sewer systems, and can be reused for several laundry loads.
The pouch is made from recycled tea towels (colors vary) and can be tossed in with a load of laundry and dried out to wait for the next washing. Soapnuts have no smell so you can add your own favorite essential oil such as rosemary, musk or amber.

Mormor’s Nypon Soppa
This dish is a favorite in Sweden and contains high amounts of vitamin C. Rose hips also contain many other health enhancing properties. This recipe comes down to me from my mother’s mother (Mormor) who was Swedish.
Method: Cook nypon (rose hips) fresh or dried in 4 liters of water for about 2 hours. Stir often and when cooked press through a fine sieve. Add raisins, cinnamon and lemon. Cook 15 minutes. Thicken with potato flour. Add almonds cut in shreds. Add sugar to taste. Serve with whipped cream and macaroons, warm or cold.
