This episode was the first one that we filmed for Mouth of Babes and one of our favorite recipes. A big thanks to FoxFire Farms for supplying the rich and nourishing organic grass-fed lamb liver. I love their slogan, ‘meat you can trust.’ There is definitely a completely different energy cooking with meat that you know hasn’t been abused all its short life in a factory farm.
Mouth of Babes
In the latest addition of Mouth of Babes we learn how to make kombucha, the powerfully detoxing home-brew. It is a good idea to start drinking kombucha before you actually get pregnant. If you are planning to get pregnant, drink it for at least six months before conceiving to help clean your tissues and prepare your body for a good healthy pregnancy.
If you are just starting to drink kombucha during pregnancy, I think it is the best idea to only drink very small amounts (1/4 c or less) at a time as you may find that it is such a powerful detoxing agent that you get ‘die off’ or the herxhiemer reaction. If you do, just ease off for a few days.
When the boys get together delicious things result. Juices spurt from grilling oysters, Crowds gather to enjoy the fresh treat.
Mikko loves to throw shells in the ocean. Following his hero Archie he learns which is an oyster and which is an empty shell. The whole family gets a ride up the hill on Archie’s tractor.

Bright colored full sense learning experience! Watching mung bean sprouts grow and then transforming them with the help of some friendly bacteria to create an edible and healthy side dish is fun for the whole family.
Mikko loved the pickled sprouts as an addition to rice and curry, after the initial shock of eating them straight from the bottle! What a trouper.
Now we all know why Amaia loves to swing, her mama took her on a tree swing flight out over the ocean 3 weeks before she was born and gave us all heart attacks.

Ruthie and Mikko demonstrate a quick and easy method for making a nourishing bone broth which is a globally renowned foundation of nutritional and preventative medicine and eating for vitality.
Although beef bones are used here, the same method can be used for other bones. Chicken Broth is particularly well known as a powerful immune booster.
